Cooling System

We build our own reverse coolant manifolds which are TIG welded and use a version of a stainless steel pipe that connects the Subaru engine to the vanagon coolant pipes. This set up has the fewest rubber hoses possible, which results in fewer possible failure points, and the least amount of clutter in the engine bay. Compared to the original vanagon cooling system this is much simpler.  A dedicated coolant bypass is installed to keep coolant temperatures steady in cold weather, and heater performance is as good as stock.
